GoldenSubmarine agency won a contract for creating a new website for the National Museum in Krakow. Directly responsible for implementing the project is GoldenGrid, a UX/UI team operating under the umbrella of the agency. The new version of the museum’s website will be available in early 2025.
The National Museum in Krakow is an institution with tradition of over 140 years. Its permanent and temporary exhibitions attract over a million visitors annually. For most of them, the website mnk.pl is the place of first contact and the source of information about collections and tickets. And it will soon have a modern look. The look that will reflect the institution’s new communication strategy.
The main task of GoldenGrid will be to create a coherent website concept that responds to the needs of users and takes into account the latest UX, UI and web design trends. In the first stage, the work on the new website will focus on collecting data on the current functioning of the website as well as researching and interviewing people who use it. After that user paths and functional mockups will be created. The final result of the work will be a completely new functional and graphic design of the website, which will have a positive impact on the recognition of the National Museum in Krakow not only among Krakow institutions, but also among European museums.
GoldenGrid is a UX/UI agency that has been operating on the market since 2021. It carries out its tasks under the GoldenSubmarine umbrella and specializes in projects for e-businesses. It has already completed a number of UX and analytical projects, including works for Super-Pharm, Carrefour, Amica, SGH, Škoda and ING.
